Assam Cricket Team is all set to travel to Sri Lanka for their first ever International tour. Team Assam will be travelling on 22 nd of August, 2018 to play against a few teams of Sri Lanka. The 17 days long tour will have 4 One Day Matches and 4 Two day matches. The Captain of the one day team will be Sivsankar Roy and the Two days matches will be lead by Amit Sinha. Former Assam Cricketer Syed Zakaria Zuffri who is also the present head coach of the team said, “Before the start of the domestic seasons it’s good to play few practice matches.
