By air: The nearest airport to this place is the Saloni Airport that is at a distance of 10 km from Tezpur. It is a domestic airport that receives flights from different parts of the country such as Jorhat, Guwahati and Kolkata. Indian airline is the major airline which operates its flights in the region. From Guwahati, there are daily flights to Tezpur.

By rail: The nearest railway station to this place is Tezpur  Dekargaon Station that is located %km away from Tezpur. There are many trains which run to Tezpur from Guwahati and also connects upper Assam 

By Road: The town is well connected with the cities like Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Nagaon and Guwahati and also the neighboring areas of Itanagar, Bamdila, Tawang and Siliguri by road. You will find both state run and private bus services.The ASTC Bus stand is located in the center of tezpur 

Its a 4 hour journey from Guwahati.

 There are two routes from Guwahati to reach t ezpur 


1.One is through Nagaon. This route is through Jagiroad, Roha and you'll also be touching Meghalaya border near Jorabat.


2.The Other one is through Mangaldai, Orang, Kharupetia, Dekhiajali.
