My Views on University of Science and Technology, MEGHALAYA
University Of Science And Techonology ,Meghalaya
ABOUT THE CAMPUS- When it comes to reviewing something about the
campus one cannot just skip away without praising the beauty of the campus. The
campus is full of natural beauties and hills around the campus adds more spice
to it. Around 600 acre of land is simply enough to take the university to a
different level.
Administration- Though
it will not be fair enough to comment something about the administration in
just a day’s visit but wat I observed was that the administration is in a very
well structured manner , all the rooms, office conference hall etc are in a
very proper manner. Which leaves a very positive image about the organization
Hospitality- The best impression about any organization lies in its
hospitality and in that case I would rate full mark for USTM, every visitors
are provided vehicle to see the campus, guest are being treated properly and food
And drink are being provided in time.
Overall observation-
There is more then 25 department in the university which is divided into 6 blocks, three are
three canteen and one big canteen is under construction , two boys hostel and
one girls hostel is also within the campus and there is a very . number of
students in each department is less as compared to other universities but with
passage of time the is every scope of improvement as far my observation.
Suggestion for
USTM-
· Canteens are Hub of any institution and
improving the infrastructure and inclusion of varieties of branded outlet/ canteen will lead to food culture in
the university
·
Proper care should be taken to increase the
number of hostel
·
University should not destroy its natural beauty
for the course of development and improvement.
