Popular spots in Jakhalabandha that can’t be ignored by youths.

After writing a series of blogs on my home town, in this blog I would love to specify some youth centric spots that keep the hustle and bustle of the town going. The energetic youths and growing up boys and girls love to spend their time in some of the unavoidable spots in the town. Check them out:

1.       Munna’s Momo: Munna Chetry, widely known as Munna bhai runs his small movable momo shop in the town. He is the owner and operator of the shop and he has been selling the delicious momo for more than a period of 7 years. He generally operates at 6pm in the evening and wraps up his business by 8pm. People of all ages unite here and Munna serves his home self made stuffs to the local and movable public around Kaliabor. He operates near the ASTC bus stand of Jakhalabandha and as a result this place has turned out to be a get together spot for the local public.

2.       Maharaja ka Chai & Singara: Maharaja Hotel, one of the most popular and oldest hotel in the town is famous for a particular reason, unlike other line hotels Maharaja is popular for its evening snacks and people love coming down to the place along with their friends and have a cup of tea along with atleast one singara. There are more then 20 hotels in Jakhalabandha, but as per my observation since my childhood, Maharaja holds the maximum number of crowd when it comes to having a chit-chat over a cup of tea.

3.     Ramnath ka Chatpata Chana: Ramnath Sahu, one of the most underrated hard working people in the town lives his livelihood by selling Channa, he started his business when he was a young boy and now for over 3 decades he has been running the his business with same passion and enthusiasm. He operates his business in the evening hours and he is available till late night. He used to run his business near the Cinema hall of Jakhalabandha and since it has stopped functioning he moved his business near the Railway station. He prepares his own stuffs entire day and comes up to sell the same in the evening.  One must admit, he has the most number of fan following in the town as people travel from long distance and stands in queue to taste his magical chana.

4.       Su-Ruchi Restaurant: Most popular in the town in present days is the Su-Ruchi restaurant, the favorite party destination in a small town like Jakhalabandha has helped people to get the taste of big places in their own home town. Su-Ruchi provides quality foods to its customer and has maintained a very well and professional environment.

5.   The Famous Pan wala: Pan is something people don’t really ignore, there are many famous bollywood numbers dedicated to PAN and people of Jakhalabandha has proved the love for pan by consuming it day in and day out. There are numerous Pan Shops in the town but this particular shop happens to attract the most number of customers. If you visit Jakhalabandha, don’t forget to stop around here to refresh yourself.

To end up my blog I would love to add that if you once visit Jakhalabandha, you will be compelled to visit it again.
